I recently started following Mustard Seed Photography run by biz owner Kat in the great state of Texas. I can’t remember exactly how I found her, but I was immediately drawn in by the clean, fresh, modern, no-fuss look of her style. I also discovered that she puts together anniversary posts each month as a shout out to her previous year’s couples that are celebrating their first year anniversary. What a neat idea, right?? I often wonder what my past clients are doing and I always enjoy seeing their first anniversary posts on Facebook. So I’m going to use Kat’s idea as inspiration for a new series in my blog! Thanks for the idea, Kat.

Last September is COMPLETELY different from this September. I had one wedding in September last year and this year I have five! What a difference a year makes! Maybe I’m doing some better marketing or maybe September is raising in popularity for weddings? Whatever it is, I think it’s a lovely time for weddings and a lovely wedding is exactly what Ashley and Mike had last year at Rocky Gap Resort in Maryland. Happy first anniversary you guys!
