LJ’s senior session was a highly anticipated event. His mom contacted me back in May and we originally scheduled the session for August. But since LJ and his parents would be driving all the way from Hagerstown, MD to Morgantown, WV for the session (so flattered!!), we rescheduled instead of taking a chance on the weather forecast. So finally, this past weekend rolled around, the forecast looked good and LJ and his parents made it to wild and wonderful West Virginia!
I immediately felt comfortable with LJ and his parents. I was a little nervous going into the session because most high school boys aren’t into taking pictures and most parents aren’t into driving hours and hours just to get pictures taken. But that didn’t seem to phase LJ and his parents. They greeted me with huge smiles and were so glad session time had finally arrived! I knew it was going to be a good evening.
LJ was cool, calm and collected the entire session…even with his parents watching and even in front of me, a strange lady he’d never met before that was making him pose and use his model face for the camera. He was a champ and a delight to photograph! I’m pretty sure the senior girls are going to be drooling over these pictures.
Truth: first shot of the session! LJ was ready for the camera, no doubt!
One of my favorites! I think it shows a little inner spunk to LJ.
A little artistic contrast…soccer uniform vs. urban edge.
LJ had no problem trying a serious face for a model look. Now that’s a senior guy who’s comfortable with himself!
Another fave for me!
And another FAVE!
It was important that we take a few with his scout uniform…
We took way more pictures than probably expected for a typical senior guy, but LJ made it so easy and never once led me to believe he was getting tired or bored. I think he pretty much rocked it and I cannot wait to do more seniors in the near future!
LJ and parents, thanks a million for coming all the way to Morgantown for a session with me! I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys and I really appreciate your support. ENJOY the pictures and good luck with everything this year, LJ!

He is real cute and looked relaxed. I’m thinking some company could pick him up to model clothing after seeing these pictures.
Thanks everyone! Jessica made this session go so smooth. LJ was very comfortable with her and the drive was so worth it. Jessica took pics at a wedding I attended a few years ago and I knew then she was the one I wanted for senior pics. Overall very wonderful experience!
Thanks so much for all the kind words, Gina! I really loved working with you guys! Seriously such an easy and fun session for me!!!
