After conversing via email for a few months, I was finally able to meet Kerri and Nathan. We’d been planning this engagement session since early spring. It was a beautiful evening in Ohiopyle, one of the local summer hot spots, and we were thankful it wasn’t a busy day for the area. Nathan and Kerri were super friendly from the start and we shared many laughs during the session. We found a ton of great photo locations and I know there’s a ton more at Ohiopyle, so I’ll be anxious to return someday soon. Enjoy my faves from Kerri and Nathan’s engagement session…
I love Kerri’s boots in this one!
Kerri photographs beautifully, don’t ya think??
I don’t do it often, but I whipped out the 70-200 lens for these and was so happy with the result! Definitely pulling out my zoom lens during sessions from now on!
A top session favorite for sure!!!
We were shooting during the “golden hour” so capturing the beautiful evening sunlight was easy…and a plus!
Kerri’s definitely got a model-ish way about her in this one!
I love red doors!
I also enjoy yellow lines on roads for pictures!
Side note: If you’re anywhere near the southwest PA area and haven’t been to Ohiopyle, definitely put it on your list of things to do this summer! While it’s a super small town in the middle of the mountains, it’s got a ton of character and considered the Laurel Highlands “best kept secret”! Hiking, white water rafting, biking (on the super popular bike trail), kayaking, and fishing are included on the list of things to do within the state park. The small town also offers cozy cafes, shops and lodging! You can find out more here: http://www.discoverohiopyle.com.
