If you saw the sneak peek of Kaylin and Brad’s engagement session on the JFP Facebook page last night, you know this one is full of personality and fun. Kaylin didn’t want the typical session. She wanted two hours full of mostly fun, but a few “serious” pictures so she could incorporate six different outfits with lots of props and really show off who she and Brad are as a couple. They’re all about having fun, laughing together and doing what makes each other happy…even if it includes a Yankees fan posing with an Orioles fan and wearing insulated camo bib-overalls in 80-degree weather.

Needless to say, Kaylin and Brad’s engagement session was very unique. There’s no doubt that these two were not shy in front of the camera (or their newly met wedding photographer) and I love what we captured together as a result of that. They’re getting married at the same place next year so I’m excited to recreate some of these pictures on their big day! Goofy glasses, funny faces and hunting equipment included.

SO CUTE!!! Can you believe this guy took engagement pictures for two hours!?! Not once did he complain or make a comment. I think Brad was secretly having fun.

Outfit #2 and time for some sports gear! Kaylin’s a Redskins fan and Brad likes the Cowboys…

This session was full of smiles for the camera, but Kaylin and Brad needed to be themselves, so there were also some funny faces thrown into the mix…

The picture on the right was Kaylin’s idea. She’s such a hoot!

I just LOVE Kaylin’s hair in this picture…so stylish and very flattering.

I’ve never had a couple wear neon colors for their engagement session, but now I’m a HUGE fan! I just love these bright colors against the natural colors of the background…

But things got a little too “serious” for these two, so we whipped out the goofy glasses! I was a little unsure how these pictures would turn out, but I think they look pretty fabulous! Maybe I just love how different they are from the norm…

The swimming pool wasn’t an original part of the plan, but I just couldn’t pass up that evening light and the pretty pink pool toys that coincidentally matched Kaylin’s shirt…

Kaylin’s not a huge fan of hunting, but Brad is…and even said he likes it more than football! Kaylin dressed up in specially bought insulated camo bib-overalls and posed with a bow and arrows just for Brad. That’s love, y’all.

Whew! We made it through, you two! I’m so glad we were able to reschedule the session and make it happen on such a beautiful evening with a beautiful location. You guys were TONS of fun and I love that you really wanted to show off your true personalities. Thanks for being SO organized and so willing to go with all my crazy ideas. I cannot wait for your wedding next September! I think we’ll need to include some of the props again, especially the goofy glasses.
